Share offer paused

Following the news that contracts have been exchanged with a new owner for the pub, we have decided to pause the sale of shares for now. Once we know the sale has gone through, we will be in touch with those who have already purchased shares to arrange the return of their investment. The money

Survey done

Our surveyor has attended the pub in company with the owner and conducted a full structural survey. The fee (£1500) was only payable following your kind donations at our Pop-Up-Pub. Thank you

You’re amazing!

In just one week, since shares in the pub became available to buy, you have purchased £71,300 worth of shares. Wow, you must be thirsty in all this heat! It’s a great start, but we need everyone who pledged to complete their purchase.

The Technicalities

‘Save our Crown’ is launched

A new Community Group has formed to save The Crown Inn in Fivehead, Somerset The current owners of The Crown have announced they are applying to turn the pub into a house. A group of pub regulars has decided to come together to save the pub. Options are being considered and advice sought.
